Sculpted

About Sculpted

A small studio in Byron Bay, not a fitness factory

Most people find us after something stops working. A back that seizes on long drives. Hips that never loosen after a surf. A core that has not felt like a core since having kids. Pilates fixes that quietly, through control and repetition, and it works best when someone is actually watching you do it.

So Sculpted stays small. Class numbers are capped, springs are set per person, and you get told when your ribs are flaring instead of finding out three months later. Complete beginners train alongside people who have been on a reformer for years, because the same exercise scales both ways.

The studio sits in Byron Bay and runs on the town's rhythm: early classes before work, quiet mid-morning sessions, and something to move through after a long week.

How we teach

Three things we do not compromise on

Small classes, real coaching

Numbers are capped so your instructor can watch your alignment and adjust it. You are not following along from the back row.

Built for stiff, sore bodies

Desk shoulders, surf-tight hips, post-baby cores, old injuries. Every exercise has a version that fits what your body can do today.

Strength, not punishment

Low impact does not mean easy. You will shake. You will also be able to move properly the next morning.

Your first visit

What happens when you walk in

  • Arrive ten minutes early so there is time to talk through injuries, pregnancy or anything that flares up.
  • Wear fitted activewear and bring grip socks for reformer classes. Water is on site.
  • Your instructor sets your springs, footbar and straps before the class starts, then checks in through the session.
  • You leave with one thing to work on next time. That is how the progress actually happens.
